What does it take to remodel your kitchen?

The first thing to keep in mind is when was this kitchen last renovated. when remodeling a kitchen we have to follow all Building and Safety requirements within your area, such as: electrical and plumbing upgrades required. The 1st task we take care of is the permit for the project, once we have the permit we will start buy removing all kitchen cabinets, countertop, flooring.

Next we will run dedicated electrical lines to each appliance as required by code and work on any minor changes required with your plumbing and or hood ventilation pipe. If any relocation of appliances are needed this will be the time where we will redirect gas lines, water lines, hood vents etc.

A city inspector will visit your property for the 1st time to inspect the rough electrical and plumbing work that it has been preformed in a safe way and up to building code. 

Next stage will be approving your kitchen layout and selecting finish style and color of cabinets and countertop. Simultaneously we will start your new flooring installation and patching of any drywall openings, apply texture on walls if needed to match existing, primer and paint the kitchen area.

The excitement is high because now your cabinets are being delivered to the property and installation of cabinets and countertop begins. (Installation of cabinets and countertop may take between 4-6 days). Cabinets are installed and so is the countertop we are at the final stages of installing backsplash, appliances, baseboards and finishing all electrical trim work required.

The day has come the job is completed and a city inspector will visit the house one last time to provide us with a city final inspection. All that’s left is for you to enjoy your new kitchen for years to come.
