PAVERS

Summer is HERE! Give you home a luxury feel by adding pavers to your backyard or driveway.

Way should I install pavers vs concrete?

Concrete is the most common material used for many years for patio platforms, walkways, and drive ways. There are many disadvantages to concrete, it fades, cracks, and have an overall cheap appearance. Not to mention that once installed you loss all access to the ground below it and no services can be preformed under the concrete slab. Pavers are different, they come and various sizes, shapes and colors. Pavers are easily removed if you need to get access to the ground below and because pavers are individual parts that interlock together they can withstand California ground movements without cracking .

How is it done?

First our consultant will arrive at your property and work with you closely in regards to the final design, layout and selected color. In order to install the new pavers system we will have to demolish anything currently installed in that area and clear at least 5-6″ to accommodate the base material, sand and pavers at the desired final height. Once all materials have been moved from the work area we will add base material and compact the ground to prevent any future movement. Prior to installing the new pavers a layer of sand is placed on the new base material creating a final base layer for the new pavers. Our installers will carefully lay down you new pavers, after all pavers are installed the gaps are then filled up with special sand that acts like grout. Some customers have us apply a layer of sealer for a wet look at extra cost.
